Atomatom, 2021. Live Performance / AV set. (Projections and videomapping).
Colaborative project with Carolina Batista and Bautista Sapelli.
Facultad de Diseño, Universidad ORT, Uruguay.
'Atomatom' is a live audiovisual performance that, as its name implies, is based on the atom and repetition (atom-atom). Starting from a particle, various landscapes are visualized, from a drop to mountains and volcanoes. Inspired by the concept of Yin and Yang, Atomatom presents the two faces of nature; creation and destruction. An audiovisual journey that immerses the viewer in omnipotent and hypnotic landscapes, with moments of calm and moments of turmoil. Contemporary electronic sound that generates attraction, immersion, and movement in both the scenes and the audience. Through image overlays and transitions, the aim is to keep the audience active and engaged. Atomatom begins and ends with the smallest unit of matter and takes the viewer on a journey through overwhelming and powerful landscapes in the face of humanity.
